As of February 21st 2021 there are close to 28 million cases of the Covid-19 in the U. S. of A. and there are half a million Deaths from the virus in the U.S. as well. When will this nightmare end. The best way to answer that question is to look to the past.

Let’s go back in time. Back let’s say to the 1600’s. To be exact 1664 and the citizens of London behold a very bright comet that leaves them to ponder the question, what form of Evil is about to be unleashed? They will have an answer soon because the evil is already on it’s way to their shores.

On the docks of London are shop keepers and tavern owners are making ready for thirsty sailors to disembark. Now that Tall Ship will make it to port, but half of her crew will be dead by the time it gets there and in 48 hours the rest of the crew will be gone as well. For you see the plague has come to London.

According to the National Archives of the United Kingdom, there are three types of plague. Most of the sick in 1665 have the bubonic plague. This created swellings in the lymph nodes found in the armpits, groin and neck. People with it suffered headaches, and fever. They have a 30% chance of dying within two weeks. Worse than that is the pneumonic plague, which attacks the lungs and spread to other people via coughing and sneezing. Finally there is the septicamic plague, which happens when bacteria enters the blood. In these cases, there is little hope of survival.

1666 the the last year of the Great Plague of London. Now this year hosted a cold winter, cold enough to kill off many of the rats and the flees who were the carriers of the plague. By the end of the year the plague was over. In September of 66 there is a great fire in central London, now I’m a layman and so I can’t tell you for sure, but I gotta think anything left of the plague is more than likely burned along with the central London. After two years the plague is gone.

1918 and the Spanish Flu

In 1918 the Spanish Flu is infecting 300 Million people worldwide, that’s 1/3 of the worlds population. You say it is bad here in 2021, maybe so, but in 1918 the Spanish flu produced the greatest death toll in recorded history. 675 thousand American are dead and 50 million people are dead worldwide in 1918. More U. S. soldiers die from the Spanish flu than were killed in battle during the entirety of World War 1.

  • The first wave is in early 1918
  • There is a second even more deadly wave that hits in the late 1918's.
  • The third wave of the Spanish flu barrels thru 1919
  • It is April of 1920 and the Spanish flu is on it’s way out, the reason is that the disease has run out of victims. people are either dead or have developed immunity.
